Early iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro listings reveal potential storage, color options

UPDATE: Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has shared his take on the iPhone 13 storage configurations. The updated story continues below.

The iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro have been detailed quite extensively ahead of their announcement next week, but some mystery still surrounds the storage and color options that Apple has planned. New leaks aim to clear that up.

Are these the iPhone 13 storage and color options?

91Mobiles claim to have spotted a premature retail listing for the iPhone 13 series on a Ukrainian e-commerce website that lists several color options for each of the four iPhone 13 models that are planned. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, on the other hand, has shared the expected storage configurations.

Before proceeding, make sure to take everything below with a pinch of salt. While the storage options come from a historically reliable source, there could be some guesswork going on with the color options for each model, even if they do seem realistic and line up with recent rumors.

What else should you expect from the iPhone 13 series?

Included alongside the aforementioned storage configurations will be the new A15 Bionic. Apple’s newest chipset is set to be announced alongside the iPhone 13 models and should be built on an improved 5-nanometer production process, meaning that it’ll be more efficient than the A14 Bionic.
Visually, the new smartphones will be undergoing a bit of a facelift too. Arguably the most important change involves the displays, which are set to benefit from a smaller notch for the first time since Apple’s iPhone X was announced in 2017.

The rear camera bumps are undergoing some surgery too. The triple-camera setups on the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max will be getting even bigger, whereas those found on the base iPhone 13 and 13 mini are set to adopt a new diagonal layout.

All of that means that customers should quickly be able to recognize the new devices in public. It also explains Apple’s decision to skip the iPhone 12S design — ‘S’ upgrades typically involve no physical changes whatsoever.

How much will the iPhone 13 cost and when will it be released?

There have been rumors of potential price hikes floating around in recent weeks, but the most recent information suggests that Apple is aiming to maintain its current iPhone pricing. With that in mind, the iPhone 13 series could cost the following:
  • $699 iPhone 13 mini
  • $799 iPhone 13
  • $999 iPhone 13 Pro
  • $1099 iPhone 13 Pro Max

If you’re hoping to get your hands on one of the new devices, take not of the following dates. They aren’t official quite yet, but it’s almost guaranteed that these are the dates Apple will choose for its iPhone 13 release cycle.

That follows an announcement on September 14 during a virtual event titled ‘California Streaming’ that Apple will be streaming from its Cupertino headquarters. In addition to the iPhone 13 series, expect to see the Apple Watch Series 7, AirPods 3, iPad 9, and iPad mini 6.
